God Never Stopped Loving You

How have you been living? Do you hate how you are living? Are you satisfied or happy or you are really not fulfilled with the way your life seems to be heading? Are you successful in your career or business but knows or feels that there is a void somewhere?

A man once lamented on his sick bed of his loneliness because of the way he had lived his life and thought he was beyond redemption. How wrong he was? I also knew of a lady that was hiding alcoholic wine in her bag just to enjoy the best of both world. How wrong she was, yet...

The Lord said in Isaiah 66:2B - "“The people I value are not proud. They are sorry for the wrong things they have done. They have great respect for what I say."

That is, irrespective of our past or present actions or inactions, of our sin or mistakes, of our history, the Lord has never once stopped loving us. Never once. It is the lack of following three things that has prevented us from taking corrective actions:
  • Pride - This exist in numerous forms. Some are pride in the knowledge or sucess they have attained; lack of humility; weighing others opinion of us more important than our lives; etc.
  • Not willing to accept our wrong and not willing to hear the truth about ourselves.
  • Not having respect and value for God and what He says.
However, if you are willing to let go of the above, God's love, which is always available, will transform these ill feelings and give you a brand new life and peace which nobody can understand. God's love is so abundant towards us that neither we or anyone, past, present and future can exhaust it.

The extent of the Lord's unfailing love can be seen when in spite of the children of Israel failures and sin in the wilderness, the Lord still fed them for forty years (Hebrew 3:9). To reassure us, the Lord challenged us to test Him with our obedience and reciprocate His love and see the extent of His blessing upon us. The Lord said, "Test me in this and see if I don't open up heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams." - Malachi 3:10b MSG)

Reciprocate His love by committing and handling your life over to the Lord Jesus, who is the only one sent by God as the way, the truth, and the life (Johhn 14:6). Invite the Lord Jesus into your life today, and let Him take control of your life and see the wondrous and marvellous things he has in store for you. The Lord promised in Matthew 11:28 that he will give you rest from all your burden if you come to Him.
