Temple – Whose are you?

Do you have any idea how you came about apart from the fact that you are a product of a man and a woman’s seed? Why are you a man or woman? You simply just know you are you. As a result, what gives you the power to now decide you are not fit for this or that? What gives you power to decide that you weren’t supposed to be you but another’s?
We know that as long as it was not your decision to manufacture a product, you have no part to play in what to use it for or how to use the product. You simply use it for its purpose and follow its manual on how to use it. The product will only serve you well when you use it according to its manual. Same with man. For no other foundation can any man lay except that has been laid already which is Christ Jesus.

Man, whether you know it or not, whether you agree or not, God made you – Gen 1:27 – “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them”. The creator of heaven and earth and all that is within it Gen 1 and Psalms 24: 1. You are the temple of God – 1 Cor 3:16-19. If a product does not serve its purpose, it is destroyed. If a man defiles the temple of God, which is your body, the manufacturer, God, shall destroy it – 1 Cor 3:17. Your body was made holy and it’s your responsibility to keep it holy.

You cannot be wiser than your manufacturer. Seek the user manual in order to use the temple (your body, your life) rightly and correctly. You cannot be wiser than the maker, your wisdom is nothing before God, your temple maker – 1 Cor 1:25a – “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men…”. Treat your body with utmost care and respect and use it to serve God, its creator and maker. Serving God with your body is the ultimate purpose. The user manual is the word of God – 2 Tim 3:16 – “The Scripture (which is the word of God) is given by inspiration of God, an is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Take the time to study this to know how to make profitable use of your body. The longevity and usefulness of your physical body depends on you allowing the maker through his manual guide you. Hand over yourself to your manufacturer by becoming born again and you will find yourself living quality and prosperous life, a long life, a fruitful life, a victorious life, a glorious life and an enjoyable life.
